Makeshift Clinic

On 20th September 2026, Human Appeal continued to provide essential primary healthcare services to displaced families at Al-Awda Health Center in Deir Al-Balah, Middle Gaza.

All the patients received medical consultations and essential healthcare support. Services included comprehensive medical assessments and diagnosis, the provision of free essential medications and complete treatment courses, and nursing care for critical cases.

Human Appeal is helping to maintain access to vital medical care, treatment and diagnostics for displaced communities in Gaza, supporting families with essential healthcare when they need it most.

Temporary Learning Spaces

On 30 August, as part of our Gaza Emergency Response in Middle Area of Gaza, Human Appeal supported 7 Temporary Learning Spaces in Gaza by providing essential classroom furniture and teaching materials, providing children with a safe place to learn, play, and regain a sense of normalcy amid the ongoing crisis.

The round delivered 76 tables and chairs, 7 whiteboards, and 7 teaching kits containing educational aids, pens, chalk, and lesson preparation notebooks.

This distribution is ongoing under a phased plan that targets 71 temporary learning spaces, ensuring that available resources reach the largest possible number of children and teachers.

Surgical Operations

On 18th August, Human Appeal, as part of the Surgical Operations Project, continues to implement medical interventions aimed at supporting women’s health and providing life-saving care. The project targets women who require specialised surgical interventions, comprehensive medical assessments and the necessary diagnostic tests before surgery to ensure patients’ readiness and safety. These interventions directly contribute to reducing women’s suffering, limiting complications resulting from delayed treatment, and improving access to safe and timely healthcare amid the major challenges facing Gaza’s healthcare system.

Water Distribution

On 11 August 2026, Human Appeal supported the distribution of 285 m³ of water across 39 sites in Khan Younis, the Middle Area, and Gaza & North. The distribution reached 9,500 households, representing approximately 47,500 IDPs. In Khan Younis, 105 m³ was distributed across 12 sites, reaching 3,500 households and 17,500 IDPs; in the Middle Area, 85 m³ was distributed across 11 sites, reaching 2,833 households and 14,166 IDPs; and in Gaza & North, 95 m³ was distributed across 16 sites, reaching 3,166 households and 15,833 IDPs.

Prefabricated Houses

On 4 August 2026, Human Appeal completed and handed over two fully equipped caravan shelters to orphan families affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The shelters were fitted with essential WASH facilities, kitchen units, water and wastewater connections, protective external cladding, and other finishing works—providing safer, more dignified, and functional living spaces for two vulnerable families. Together, we continue to stand with the people of Gaza, supporting vulnerable families with essential humanitarian assistance and hope for a better future.

Prosthetic Limbs

On 2nd of August, Human Appeal organised the Prosthetic Limbs project. At Hamad Hospital in Gaza City, the Prosthetic Limbs Project provides essential prosthetic and rehabilitation services to individuals who have undergone limb amputations. Through personalised prosthetic fitting, physical therapy, gait training, and ongoing rehabilitation, the project helps beneficiaries regain independence, improve their quality of life, and move forward with dignity.
