The latest air strikes have made the situation in Lebanon worse. Our team continues to help, in southern Lebanon, where hundreds of airstrikes have caused thousands of people to leave their homes.
Over 492 people have died and more than 1,000 have been hurt in the latest attacks, which have forced over 100,000 people to seek safety in shelters. The emergency services are already fully booked and now people are living terrible conditions in overcrowded schools that lack basic services like toilets, clean water, and safe places to stay.
$35 – Provide a family of five with one hot, nutritious meat-based meal.

Our Ongoing Work and Response
Human Appeal is working closely with our partners on the ground to deliver life-saving aid across Lebanon.
We are focusing on providing:
Ambulances and Medical Care: With healthcare facilities overwhelmed, access to fully equipped ambulances and medical supplies is crucial to save lives.
Food and Hot Meals: Displaced families urgently need sustenance. We are distributing hot meals and food parcels to provide essential nutrition.
Hygiene Kits: Ensuring access to basic hygiene, including feminine hygiene products, to prevent the spread of disease in overcrowded shelters.
Non-Food Items (NFIs): Blankets, mattresses, and pillows are critical for families displaced into temporary shelters as the weather cools.
We are addressing the healthcare crisis as we are urgently in need of ambulance maintenance to provide medical transport. Half of the fleet is currently out of service, making it difficult to assist the injured in critical situations.
Preparing for Winter
Winter is approaching, worsening conditions for the 500,000 people in Southern Lebanon. Freezing temperatures add to the challenges faced by displaced families with limited resources. Many can’t afford food or heating, making our food packages and hot meals essential for their survival.

For just $5 per person per day, you can provide a family with a hot meal including rice, chicken, yogurt, fruits, vegetables, and local sweets. Your support will help feed 2,400 displaced individuals and provide hygiene kits, food parcels, and sleeping kits to over 100,000 people across Lebanon.

On 28th September, we distributed hot meals to 135 people in Saida.
On 29th September, we delivered 56 hot meals to families in shelters at Saida.
On 2nd October, we distributed 50 hygiene kits in the displacement camp at Ahmad Bolbol Public School.
On 2nd October, we distributed 50 food parcels in Saida.
On 3rd October, we distributed 56 food parcels to families sheltering in Zaidan Parking Shelter in South Lebanon.
