September 23 was the deadliest day in Lebanon since the crisis began nearly a year ago. In just a matter of days, over 620 people in Lebanon have been killed, including at least 50 children. According to the latest reports, over 600 have been killed, 1,800 wounded—including children—and almost 500,000 people have been displaced as families flee in fear of being the next victims.

Education across southern Lebanon has come to a standstill, with over 4,000 residential buildings already damaged.
Hundreds of airstrikes have devastated residential areas, leaving families in terror as they flee from the south of the country.
Human Appeal is on the ground supporting the people of Lebanon.
In just three days, scores of bombs have killed over 600 people in Lebanon, damaging schools, homes, roads, and other infrastructure. Almost half a million families have been forced to flee with little time, and they urgently need nourishing food.
Each family-sized meal will contain a chicken, 1.5 kilograms of rice, a kilogram of yoghurt, a kilogram of fruit and vegetables, 200 grams of dates, and a local dessert.
As we roll out our hot meal distribution, we’re also preparing to expand our efforts to provide food parcels, hygiene kits, and shelter kits to help families cope with the sudden and extreme insecurity.
