This winter, more families than ever need our help, and we need your help to provide them with our biggest winter response to date.
Families enduring unbelievable trauma and hardship now have to cope with freezing winters without proper shelters, many while still in fear for their lives.
Fathers shielding their children from bombs now have to protect them from the cold, rain, and sickness. Children left without parents are now exposed to freezing temperatures and snow. Mothers in shelters, struggling to keep their newborns warm, fight against the bitter cold.
The winter months are incredibly hard for millions around the world. They’re also a chance for us to connect with our brothers and sisters, to extend a protective hand to families enduring trauma, pain, grief, and violence that we cannot even imagine.
In these months of continued hardship, every life saved helps save vulnerable lives, preserve our culture, and spread the message of mercy.

From disaster to winter
This winter, our focus is on those already struggling with disaster, in countries where our projects already support people in crisis through our emergency development work. In Gaza and Lebanon, we're providing winter supplies to people surviving relentless and catastrophic assaults, displacement, and isolation. In Kashmir we're offering warmth through clothing to orphans and their families. In Syria, we’re assisting displaced families with heating. In Pakistan and Afghanistan our aid includes warm clothing for families. In Yemen, we're supporting families living in mountainous areas with warm winter family blankets, and in Iraq we're providing warmth and hope by providing displaced families with a mattress, blanket, and heating.
Our winter emergency appeal extends a helping hand to families across all 7 countries. Your support is their lifeline.

In the event we complete the program, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another program where it is needed most.
