Winter in Lebanon

Even before the devastating bombings across Lebanon, winter for displaced families in southern Lebanon was incredibly tough, with thick snowfall, sub-zero temperatures and, for refugees, social and financial marginalization.

The brutal conflict, killings, and trauma across Lebanon, especially in the south, will make this winter unbearable, especially for families forced to flee their homes.

In addition to our Lebanon emergency work, providing food, hygiene kits, and shelter, we’re providing winter support in south Lebanon to Syrian and Palestinian refugees and displaced Lebanese families.

This project is Zakat applicable.

Donate to our Winter Emergency Appeal and help us to protect the most vulnerable families across seven countries from snow, rain, flooding, freezing temperatures and bitter winds. In Lebanon, $89 will provide a mattress, warm blanket, and pillows to displaced families in southern Lebanon.
