1. Dua for Acceptance

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Rabbana taqabbal minnā innaka anta as-Samīʿul-ʿAlīm.

Our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

2. Dua for Forgiveness and Mercy

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

Rabbana ẓalamnā anfusanā wa in lam taghfir lanā wa tarḥamnā lanakūnanna minal-khāsirīn.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.

3. Dua for Mercy

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Rabbighfir warḥam wa anta khayrur-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.

Ref: Qur’an 23:118

4. Dua for Guidance

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

Ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭal-mustaqīm.

Guide us to the straight path.

Ref: Qur’an 1:6

5. Dua for Relief from Distress

لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn.

There is no god except You. Glory be to You. Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers.

Ref: Qur’an 21:87

6. Dua for Patience and Steadfastness

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Rabbana afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa thabbit aqdāmanā wanṣurnā ʿalal-qawmil-kāfirīn.

Our Lord, pour patience upon us, make our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

7. Dua for Gratitude

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ

Rabbi awziʿnī an ashkura niʿmatakallatī anʿamta ʿalayya wa ʿalā wālidayya wa an aʿmala ṣāliḥan tarḍāh.

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteous deeds that please You.

8. Dua for Protection

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

Aʿūdhu bikalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

9. Dua for Parents

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbirḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā.

My Lord, have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.

Ref: Qur’an 17:24

10. Dua for Knowledge

رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Rabbi zidnī ʿilmā.

My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

11. Dua for Beneficial Knowledge, Good Provision, and Accepted Deeds

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

Allāhumma innī as’aluka ʿilman nāfiʿā, wa rizqan ṭayyibā, wa ʿamalan mutaqabbalā.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.

12. Dua for Ease

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا

Allāhumma lā sahla illā mā jaʿaltahu sahlā, wa anta tajʿalul-ḥazna idhā shi’ta sahlā.

O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make difficulty easy if You will.

13. Dua for Firmness of Faith

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ

Rabbana lā tuzigh qulūbanā baʿda idh hadaytanā wa hab lanā min ladunka raḥmah innaka antal-Wahhāb.

Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.

14. Dua for Healing

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Allāhumma Rabban-nās, adh-hibil-ba’s, ishfi anta ash-Shāfī, lā shifā’a illā shifā’uk, shifā’an lā yughādiru saqamā.

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and cure, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness.

15. Dua for Anxiety, Sadness, Laziness, and Debt

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazan, wal-ʿajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa ḍalaʿid-dayn, wa ghalabatir-rijāl.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt, and being overpowered by others.

16. Dua for Good in This Life and the Next

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbana ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanah wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanah wa qinā ʿadhāban-nār.

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

17. Dua for Reliance on Allah

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿmal-wakīl.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

Ref: Qur’an 3:173

18. Dua for Righteous Family

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Rabbana hab lanā min azwājinā wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wajʿalnā lil-muttaqīna imāmā.

Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and descendants comfort to our eyes, and make us an example for the righteous.

19. Dua for Entering Upon Good and Leaving Upon Good

رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا

Rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqin wa akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqin wajʿal lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā.

My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.

20. Dua for Strength and Support

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ۝ وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ۝ وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي ۝ يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Rabbi ishraḥ lī ṣadrī, wa yassir lī amrī, waḥlul ʿuqdatan min lisānī, yafqahū qawlī.

My Lord, expand my chest, ease my task for me, and untie the knot from my tongue so that they may understand my speech.

21. Dua for Allah’s Love

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ

Allāhumma innī as’aluka ḥubbak, wa ḥubba man yuḥibbuk, wal-ʿamalalladhī yuballighunī ḥubbak.

O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and deeds that will bring me closer to Your love.

22. Dua for Purification of the Heart

اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا، وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا

Allāhumma āti nafsī taqwāhā, wa zakkihā anta khayru man zakkāhā, anta waliyyuhā wa mawlāhā.

O Allah, grant my soul its righteousness and purify it, for You are the best to purify it. You are its Guardian and Master.

23. Dua for Protection from Trials

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ۝ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Rabbana lā tajʿalnā fitnatan lil-qawmiẓ-ẓālimīn, wa najjinā biraḥmatika minal-qawmil-kāfirīn.

Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people, and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.

24. Dua for a Good Ending

فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ

Fāṭiras-samāwāti wal-arḍ, anta waliyyī fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah, tawaffanī musliman wa alḥiqnī biṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.

25. Dua for Light

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا

Allāhummajʿal fī qalbī nūrā, wa fī lisānī nūrā, wa fī samʿī nūrā, wa fī baṣarī nūrā.

O Allah, place light in my heart, light on my tongue, light in my hearing, and light in my sight.
