Education That Moves With Displaced Children

In Gaza's displacement camps, 600,000 children haven't seen a classroom in over a year. They're not just missing lessons—they're losing literacy, routine, and the belief that tomorrow matters. Children who could read last year are forgetting how. Six-year-olds have never held a pencil.

Human Appeal's 8 mobile schools are already operational, reaching 600 children across Gaza's displacement zones. Our teachers are all Gaza residents who lost their own schools; they run four-hour daily programs covering Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Science. These aren't makeshift classes; they're comprehensive curriculum delivery in tents that move when families move.

Since launching, we've seen 87% daily attendance despite ongoing strikes. Parents walk children through dangerous zones to reach us. That's how desperately Gaza wants its children educated.

How You Can Help

  • Donate to provide the schools with funds for books, supplies, teacher salaries, and tent maintenance.
  • $261,000 funds all 8 schools for the full semester.

These schools operate regardless of ceasefires, borders, or headlines. When families flee, we pack up and follow. Education in Gaza can't wait for peace.

"Whoever teaches knowledge will have the reward of the one who acts upon it." — Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
