Qurbani Pakistan

Give Qurbani in Pakistan

Give your Qurbani with purpose in Pakistan, where hunger is not a statistic, but a daily reality.

Pakistan Is in Crisis. Your Qurbani Arrives at the Right Moment.

Pakistan is facing one of its most severe hunger crises in a generation. With 30% inflation and failed harvests, war-driven price hikes have doubled the cost of food and transport in rural communities almost overnight. Eleven million people are undernourished, and nearly half of all children are stunted from years of poor nutrition, even before the current crisis began.

For these families, Eid al-Adha often arrives not as a celebration, but as another day of scarcity. Your Qurbani changes that. For $199, fresh halal meat reaches a household that may not have eaten protein in weeks. This is given not as a handout, but as the fulfillment of a sacred obligation that connects your table to theirs.

"If it wouldn't be good enough for our own family, it isn't good enough for theirs."

What Your $199 Qurbani Delivers in Pakistan

  • 1 Qurbani share (1/7 of a cow)
  • 3–4kg of fresh, halal meat per family.
  • Each share of Qurbani donated, feeds multiple families.
  • Prioritised for the most vulnerable — children, female-headed households, and families in remote rural areas.
  • Sharia-compliant sacrifice overseen by local Imams and qualified butchers.

By dividing each share into generous 3–4kg portions, we ensure your $199 donation nourishes as many households as possible.

Why Pakistan. Why Now.

Forty percent of Pakistani children face stunted physical and cognitive development directly linked to protein deficiency. These are not just numbers; these are children whose mothers are stretching the little portions they can get across meals that offer almost no nutrition. A single Qurbani share provides something no food parcel can replicate: the dignity of a proper meal on the most important day of the Islamic year.

Human Appeal has worked in Pakistan for decades. Our teams are on the ground, our supply chains are established and our distribution reaches the remote rural communities that other organizations often cannot access.

Our 2025 Qurbani Impact

Last Dhul Hijjah, Human Appeal reached over 68,700 people with Qurbani meat in Pakistan — delivered fresh, halal, and with full Sharia compliance. Globally, 1.17 million people were reached across 41 countries, with Human Appeal's teams distributing meat to families in conflict zones, remote villages, and urban settlements where hunger is chronic. Your Qurbani in 2026 builds directly on that foundation.

When the Messenger (PBUH) was asked what Qurbani is, he answered, “It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim. For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah.”

Qurbani Pakistan FAQs

  • How does my Qurbani share benefit multiple families?

By dividing each share into generous 3–4kg portions, we ensure your Qurbani donation nourishes as many households as possible while providing enough meat for a week of dignified meals.

  • Why is Pakistan a priority country for Qurbani?

Pakistan is among the most acutely affected countries in Human Appeal's network this year. The combination of inflation, harvest failure, and regional conflict has pushed millions of families into a level of food insecurity where Qurbani meat may be the only significant protein source they receive around Eid.

  • How is Qurbani distributed in Pakistan?

Our Pakistan teams source animals locally from trusted farmers, ensure all slaughter is conducted by qualified butchers under the oversight of local Imams, and distribute fresh meat directly to verified beneficiary families — prioritising children under five, pregnant women, and female-headed households.

  • Is my Qurbani Sharia-compliant in Pakistan?

Yes. Every sacrifice is conducted in accordance with Islamic guidelines, overseen by local scholars and qualified butchers. Human Appeal has upheld this standard in Pakistan for over three decades.

  • When will my Qurbani be performed?

Sacrifices are carried out between the 10th and 13th of Dhul Hijjah, beginning immediately after the Eid prayer. Because we pre-purchase animals in advance, your Qurbani is guaranteed to be performed on time regardless of when you donate during the giving window.

  • How many people did Human Appeal reach in India in 2025?

In 2025, your support helped us reach over 505,000 people in India alone—making it one of our largest single-country distributions in the world.

  • Can I give more than one Qurbani share?

Yes. You can donate multiple shares. Many donors choose to give additional shares on behalf of deceased parents, family members, or the Prophet ﷺ and the Ummah. Each additional $50 reached another group of families this Eid.

  • What is the difference between Qurbani and Udhiya?

They refer to the same act. Qurbani is the term commonly used in South Asia and across the wider Muslim world, while Udhiya is the classical Arabic term. Both refer to the sacrifice performed during the days of Dhul Hijjah.

Every year our team in the field endeavours to ensure your Qurbani is distributed on your behalf in the country you selected. However, in cases where it is no longer possible in the country of your choice due to factors beyond our control, we will ensure it is delivered within the Eid days, to those who need it most in the next nearest country.
