The Messenger (PBUH) said, “Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all."(Ibn Khuzaymah)

Rewards for good deeds are multiplied many times over during Ramadan. Seek the blessings of this holy month by providing food for those who are fasting.

Donate to our Feed the Fasting fund to contribute any amount or provide a Ramadan food parcel to a family in need. Here’s how your donations can make a difference:

Zakat applicable

$175 – Provide a family in need with iftars for the entire month of Ramadan. Each pack will contain an average of 58 kilograms of food, including staples, such as sugar, rice, and flour, as well as local preferences, such as chickpeas, lentils, tea, milk powder or pasta.

With so many families struggling this year, we will distribute your iftar donations as food parcels or hot meals wherever they are most needed across 18 countries, using nutritious, locally tailored ingredients.

If you cannot donate an entire food parcel or prefer your iftar to go where it is most needed, please contribute to this fund. We will combine your donation with others to ensure the most vulnerable families receive nourishing iftars this Ramadan.

What does an iftar provide?

Each hot meal will include Ramadan staples such as dates, vegetables, rice, and bread, along with meat, ensuring a nutritious meal for those in need.

Our food parcels weigh an average of 58 kilograms and include staples like sugar, rice, and flour, as well as local favorites such as chickpeas, lentils, tea, milk powder, or pasta.

In the event we complete the programme, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another programme where it is needed most.
