Amman, Jordan — Last week, our team completed a two-day operational visit to Jordan to oversee key Qurbani and emergency relief projects supporting Gaza. Jordan serves as a critical logistics hub for our Gaza operations due to its proximity to the region, established humanitarian infrastructure, and longstanding partnerships with local organizations.
Day 1: Quality Assurance and Distribution Preparation
We began with an inspection of the KSA Adahi and Hadi project facilities at the refrigerated warehouse complex. This visit allowed us to verify storage conditions and quality control measures for sacrificial meat designated for distribution.
Later that day, our team participated in a food parcel packing session alongside content creators who are helping document our Gaza relief efforts. These parcels are being prepared for families facing acute food insecurity.
Day 2: Gaza Supply Chain Coordination
We supervised the loading of multiple trucks carrying completed food parcels destined for Gaza. Coordinating cross-border humanitarian logistics requires careful planning with various stakeholders to navigate access restrictions.
In the afternoon, we met with Dr. Hussein Al Shebli, Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), to review our collaborative Qurbani canned meat project and discuss distribution timelines.
