Reach Deployment 2026 Giveaway – Official Rules & Regulations

1. Sponsor

The Reach Deployment 2026 Giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Human Appeal Canada (the “Sponsor”).

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.

2. Eligibility

The contest is open only to Canadian citizens who:

· Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;

· Reside in Canada; and

· Are not employees, officers, directors, or immediate family members of the Sponsor.

This Contest is void in Quebec.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins on the date of public announcement and closes on December 21 at 11:59 PM (ET).

4. How to Enter

No purchase necessary.

Participants must scan the official QR code or follow the official entry instructions provided by Human Appeal Canada.

Limit one (1) entry per person.

Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules are void.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive one (1) international humanitarian deployment trip with Human Appeal Canada to observe humanitarian work on the ground.

The prize:

· Has no cash value;

· Is non-transferable;

· Cannot be exchanged or substituted; and

· All travel dates, destination(s), duration, accommodations, activities, and logistics are determined solely by the Sponsor and are subject to change.

Important:

The Sponsor is not responsible for obtaining, verifying, or guaranteeing passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, travel authorizations, or any other required travel documentation.

The winner is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all travel, health, and entry requirements.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.

All costs not expressly stated as included in the prize, including but not limited to passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, ground, transportation, meals, taxes, and incidental expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection

One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.

To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

The selected entrant will be notified by email or direct message at the Sponsor’s sole discretion within five (5) business days of the draw.

If the selected entrant does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or is found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at the Sponsor’s discretion.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the Contest, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

9. Release & Limitation of Liability

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Human Appeal Canada, Instagram/Meta, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, injury, or damage arising out of or related to participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize, including travel-related risks.

10. Sponsor Rights

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failure, security issues, travel restrictions, government actions, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, subject to applicable law.

11. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, likeness, and province of residence for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

12. Governing Law

This Contest is governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario.
